One of our main missions at Family Grounds Cafe is to be a staple in our community as we seek opportunities to impact our neighborhood/city.  We have a very specific family whose story grips our hearts.   We are reaching out to you in hopes that you also are seeking to make an impact in your community and might consider making a donation to this local family.

Family Grounds Cafe values its customers and continually seeks to create an experience of fun, comfort and relaxation. 

Saturday mornings can be very busy at Family Grounds Cafe. Numerous requests for reservations have been made. We decided, "Why not give it a trial run!" 

Beginning, Saturday, February 13, we are accepting reservations for three seatings. Call 773-281-0785.

9:00am - 10:30am
10:45am - 12:15pm

Do you only want to come during open play times?  Do you want the opportunity to make a reservation that guarantees your spot - perhaps a play date with friends - to ensure all of you get in to the play space together? Or, are Saturday play times your thing. Whatever your situation, we created a schedule (below) that fits everyone's particular needs.

Family Grounds Cafe: Parent's Escape

PARENT’S ESCAPE (Service no longer offered effective 1/14/10)

For the parent who wants it all. We will supervise your children in our separate play space while you catch up on email, work, read a book, chat with a friend, meet with a client, or just savor time to yourself in our sophisticated cafe seating area. A complimentary small house coffee or tea, and a snack for kids. Time designed for kids who feel comfortable playing independently of their parents. Parents must remain in the cafe at all times.

EARLY BIRDS OPEN PLAY

Do you have early birds that chirp before sunrise? Does 7am feel like noon? Start your morning at Family Grounds Cafe. Get your favorite coffee drink, sit back in self-gratification and let your children release their morning energy in our play space.

Family Grounds Cafe Open Play Punch Passes

For those of you that consider yourselves spontaneous, or for those “I just gotta get outta the house” days, this time is for you! Come relax with a coffee while your little one plays nearby. Your kids will enjoy our interactive play space and numerous toys. It’s a great time to meet with friends or take time for yourself. Let the kids play. We’ll put the toys away! Music and story-time activities offered throughout the day.

Monthly memberships are available for those interested in committing to a specific reservation Time Block on a weekly basis for an entire month (See cashier or call 773-281-0785 for membership details).
