Be a rockstar with Super Stolie! Playing a mix of original children's songs from her CD, "When I Grow Up," plus popular covers and traditional tunes as well (ABC, Wheels on the Bus, Elmo's Song, etc), Super Stolie can adapt the show for children for any and all ages and, with enough lead time, she can even learn a couple songs that your child specifically loves or group songs to fit the theme of your party -- trucks, animals, Halloween. You name it!.

With small instruments for everyone to play, mini bubbles to chase and pop, and inflatable guitars, Super Stolie's 30-45 minute performance encourages children (and parents) to sing-along, dance, jump, play freeze dance, balance on one foot and give high fives! While best-suited for ages 2-5, Stolie has also molded shows for infants, preschoolers and kindergartners. Whatever the age, it's musical fun-time that aims to fully engage the little ones.

Emily Claire: Family Grounds Cafe Musician (Ages 1+)

“Emily Claire” is excited to be a part of your child’s birthday party! She will create an exciting performance, including original music, as well as old favorites. Expect movement, singing, and lots of fun!

Emily can work with you to tailor the music and activites to the party’s theme, if you should have one. Aside from music and movement, Emily Claire has a few tricks up her sleeve (like juggling!) which are sure to wow your babes! The performance will last 30-40 minutes, with additional interactions before and after the show.

Laura Doherty: Award-Winning Recorded Artist

is a Chicago-based children's musician with an ear for a catchy melody. She has recorded several Parents' Choice Award-winning CDs for children, including her most recent CD "Kids in the City", which has hit the XM radio airwaves and was rated a top-10 CD of 2009 by Time Out NY Kids Magazine. Time Out Chicago calls Laura "one of the best things this year (2009) to happen to Chicago Kids."

Laura delivers a highly interactive show that includes some Chicago-themed songs about the El Train, the zoo, skyscrapers and more, as seen through a child's eyes. Laura is also a long-time teaching artist at Old Town School of Folk Music. Her shows are great for ages 0-6 yrs.

Hogwash Kids Improv:  (Ages 4+)

Option #1:  Hogwash brings its engaging, interactive performing arts experience combining improvisation, music, art, and storytelling for an unforgettable birthday party.

At a Hogwash show, the audience helps create an improvised tale by choosing costumes, drawing set pieces, giving suggestions, as well as singing and acting along with the Hogwash Players. Birthday parties are built around any theme and the guest of honor is given special attention throughout the show.  (45-50min)

Option #2:  Hogwash can provide creative drama instructors to lead the party-goers on a journey through their own imaginations. Over the course of a 40-minute workshop children's stories come to life.
